Lessons on Life – A Play on Proverbs

IMG_0647_2

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,

No man is an island,

I know this to be true,

Actions speak louder than words,

Easy come, easy go,

True wealth is good health,

This too I know,

Practice makes perfect,

Two wrongs don’t make a right,

Honesty is the best policy,

And Life is ALWAYS too short,

You can’t judge a book by its cover,

The pen is mightier than the sword,

A picture is worth a thousand words,

Fortune favours the bold,

For if the truth be told, the truth shall set you free,

There is no time like the present,

And finally,

When all is done and dusted and all is said and done,

You fought the good fight and won.

  1. How nicely you make this poem with all the important life lessons! These are really tough to learn. Only the good learners can learn it from their lives and maintain the rhythm of life like the poem.
