52 Weeks of Thankfulness – Week 4

A pink garden seat with matching Lavatera

I have worked on thankfulness issues for many years – perhaps 20 +, keeping a diary of the gifts of each day and reflecting on them before I close my eyes at night to sleep.

Although I have had my share of tough times, I ALWAYS find things to be grateful for in life.

I am thankful for a lot of precious memories this past week:

An unexpected visit from a Scottish friend and his mum was filled with laughter,

TWO whole days of beautiful sunshine allowed me time to potter in my garden and sit in my pink chair.

Visits to three of my aunts was a pleasure as always,

I enjoyed a chat with my oldest friend on the telephone…

Without friends and family where would we be?

This post is part of Bernadette at http://www.haddonmusings.com weekly Thankfulness challenge.
