The beautiful “Kingdom of Fife” lies north of the Firth of Forth and the city of Edinburgh.
Fife’s inhabitants take great pride in their floral displays, enhancing already pretty villages and towns, increasing community spirit and attracting LOTS of visitors.
Many of the villages are situated on the coast and have a seaside theme to their displays. A boat, an anchor, some old fishing nets and lobster pots have been attractively arranged in the photograph above.
Another boat is filled with orange Nasturtiums which complement the blue of the boat and make the colours pop.
The lamp posts are adorned with hanging baskets.
Businesses are overflowing with colourful flowers…
I loved this wall embellished with boating treasures – a great idea for a seaside themed garden.
A simple way to recycle old tyres made me smile.
I left Fife, inspired with LOTS of new ideas for my own garden.

I found Scotland to be filled with beautiful flowers. Your pictures are a treat for the eyes and the tire minion is a riot.

Really “homey” photos…in that I’d like to live in a place like that! The ending pic is especially fun for me as I am a huge minion-fan. May I use it in a future blog post?
