52 Weeks of Thankfulness – Week 11

“Love is the only gold.”

                                                                                             Alfred Lord Tennyson

I became inspired to travel the self publishing route after attending a conference with Books Go Social  in the summer of 2015.

Fast forward a year and a bit and I had a HUGE “to do list”regarding the publication of my own book – “Watching the Daisies- Life Lessons on the Importance of Slow.”

I felt more than a little overwhelmed!

Thus, I picked up the phone on Tuesday for “BGS’s” advice on book cover design, e-formatting, my book launch…

I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief as everything began to fall into place due to the kindness of Laurence O’Bryan and his team.  I am travelling to Dublin next week for some much appreciated one-to-one support.

My book had taken a back seat for several weeks as a dearly loved family member has been ill.  We awaited results of major investigations.

Happily, the news we received this week was much better than expected and although they face major surgery, the long term outcome is all good.

I felt a HUGE weight lift when I heard the following words retold, as given by a kind doctor:

“You are going to be OK.”

They were worth a fortune to me.  All felt right in my world once again…
