52 Weeks of Thankfulness – Week 17

It has been an exciting week!  Yesterday, I finally pressed SEND on an e – mail to Books Go Social who are e formatting my book “Watching the Daisies – Life lessons on the Importance of Slow.”  Their team are also designing my e book cover.

I took my own advice on Monday when I posted Velocity  and I have slowed down considerably, to allow my body time to rest and restore.

Writing my book has been a HUGE exercise in letting go of my Past and forgiving myself and others.

My life experiences have also taught me to appreciate the simple things in life:

  • good health
  • friendship
  • family
  • a warm home
  • plentiful food
  • a beautiful sunrise…

If you want to participate in Bernadette’s weekly writing prompt “52 Weeks of Thankfulness” please press the frog on Haddon Musings

  1. Hi Brigid,

I’ve always enjoyed reading your blog; you come across as creative, and I just love the name of your blog.

I have nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. Here’s the link: https://comeinsitdown.wordpress.com/2016/10/21/versatile-blogger-award/

Your participation is totally voluntary, you don’t have to accept the nomination. Should you decide not to take part, I will completely understand that and won’t be offended.

I however will appreciate it if you chose to accept it; I see the nomination process as a way to promote my fellow bloggers work across the board and to spread the word.

    Thank you and best wishes,

    1. Thank you Anna. You are kind. I am an award free blog. I cannot accept as I have turned a number down before and to accept now may cause offence to other lovely bloggers. Well done on your award. It is well deserved.

  2. How exciting about your book….how exciting to say “I wrote a book”!! Wishing every success with it! Thank you again for mentioning my blog…I am most excited and grateful about that! So happy to hear you are taking your own advice to slow down and relax!! I can only imagine the drain both physically and mentally when writing a book. xo Rest and refresh. 🙂
