Hugs from the Universe

I want to say a big “thank you” to everyone who commented on my post This Too Shall Pass. I really appreciate your kindness. You have been a HUGE support.

The week my sister passed away, I won two beautiful prizes from great blogging friends.

The first came from ThoughtsnLife Blog

I have been following Bella’s inspirational blog from the outset, and enjoy her wise weekly meditations and quotes. I always feel uplifted and motivated after reading her posts.

She has a free printable booklet “Towards a More Positive Me.”

I was blessed to win a copy of a very apt book by Dadi Janki (administrative head of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University) called “Inside Out”.

Dadi says” When you begin to think positively, you accumulate power. Your self confidence and effectiveness increase. When you allow negative thoughts to come, it is as if a leak develops in the vessel of your soul.”

Thank you Bella. “Inside Out” is indeed a very special book.

The second prize came from Wendy at Brilliance Within, who also inspires positive change through her “coaching tips, motivation and encouragement.” She is a lovely warm, kind lady with a great sense of humour.

If you subscribe to her blog you will have access to a printable download of her “90 Day Habit Changing Challenge Record Sheet.”

I was thrilled to receive this gorgeous stationery set, which came in a divine sparkly Brilliance Within box. The gold on the stationery matches the gold on Wendy’s blog – the colour of wisdom. If you visit her blog you will surely be inspired.

When I mentioned to Wendy that my sister had just passed away, she said that these prizes were “hugs from the Universe.”

The Universe continues to produce hugs on a daily basis, and I feel incredibly blessed.

Thank you.

  5. The ebb and flow of life never ceases to amaze me. I am sorry for your loss, especially since it was someone so close and it happened so suddenly. Yes, this is a reminder of how fragile life really is and how we should appreciate the little things in life which are so important.
