The Law of Attraction and Abundance

get rich

I have read a LOT of books on The Law of Attraction over the years, and worked through many of my internal blocks. However, Denise Duffield-Thomas’s book caught my eye during a recent month long break from blogging, and I am so glad it did.

Even if you’re unaware of these blocks and fears, you’re probably not earning what you’re really worth. Are you ready to break through your money blocks and finally make the money you deserve? In Get Rich, Lucky Bitch! you’ll learn how to unlock your hidden potential for abundance and upgrade your life forever.Join Lucky Bitch author Denise Duffield-Thomas on a journey of self- discovery so you can smash through your abundance blocks and join a community of women all around the world who are learning to live large and become truly lucky bitches.

My Review

Although I am not a fan of the word “bitch,” this book is an excellent motivational tool, based on the “Law of Attraction.”
Denise is straight talking, inspiring and writes in an easy to read and humorous style.
Although I have read many motivational books in the past, this book inspired me to write down a fairly lengthy and comprehensive action plan for an abundant New Year.

Outcome

Denise has truly inspired me.

I have worked through a number of the exercises she suggested, and downloaded her FREE motivational tools.

Without giving away any spoilers these include:

  • Forgiveness around old money issues,
  • Cord cutting exercises,
  • Listening to a subliminal tape,
  • Setting new goals,
  • Creating an Action Plan…

My Action Plan

My Action Plan has been divided into 14 bite size chunks which are easily doable. I am working through them SLOWLY.

The day after I completed one of her exercises, I had the best day of sales of my memoir “Watching the Daisies” EVER!

January continued to attract great sales, and has become my best month since publication in November 2016.

I sold almost twice as many books as my previous record!

IMPRESSIVE.

Synchronicity

Denise O’Donoghue who writes a column for the Lifestyle section of The Irish Examiner newspaper, featured my blog in her “Online Lives” series on 28 January.

You can read her article HERE

I had originally expressed an interest in being included well over a year ago.

A coincidence or not?

The Greatest Wealth

Although, we all need money to survive and thrive, I believe that true abundance is not just about money.

The following is one of my favourite quotes:

“The greatest wealth is health.”

  1. Sounds like a fabulous read Brigid. The title alone would have caught my eye too but there are so many books around on the LOA these days. Her methods sound like they work. How absolutely wonderful. 🙏

  2. Congrats on the recent booming book sale! I love your book and am thrilled more people will be reading it. Your review if this self help book sounds interesting. I’m not one for these type of books but maybe that’s why I’m broke! I may give it a read. 😊

  4. I do love motivational books/speakers but am not interested in money, at least not more than my needs require. I’ve had some and found the demands it brought with it were more than I wanted. Still, I am in a minority so I think the book and your excellent review will appeal to many!

  5. Not one I’d come across. The whole ‘are you ready to get rich’ angle puts me off, and yet you’ve made it sounds like an interesting, motivational kind of read, so I wouldn’t mind checking it out. It’s brilliant it helped inspire you towards your action plan for the year! It can take a lot for a self-help/motivation style book to actually make you act on something (rather than think about it) so that’s a good sign, and I always like freebies. Will check this out now – thanks! Really glad it’s been such a positive read for you 🙂

    • Found you Caz. You were in Spam. Yes. I agree the title is off putting but it is a terrific book. It was just what I needed. Ultimately, it is about our self worth. I find I need to have some kind of motivational tool now and again. I also loved The Kindness Method reviewed a while back. xx

  8. Isn’t that interesting?! I do believe that the world is much more complex than we realize, Brigid, with much happening in the “invisible” planes of intention, creative energy, and imagination. A compelling review! Thanks for the recommendation. 🙂

  9. Everyone wants a perfect life; life with success, wealth, happiness and many more. For some people the perfect life can be material or emotional happiness. To stay happy in your life, there is a need to maintain a daily routine and follow it strictly to stay focused. It can be easy if you implement Law of Attraction in your life.

  10. Since I don’t believe in “coincidences,” I take this subject, the book you read, and the successes coming your way quite seriously. I do believe in a lot that the “law of attraction’ talks about. We should use our own power of belief in ourselves to obtain all we desire and deserve. On the other hand, I really enjoy reading the comments of your readers, and particularly Jacqui’s and Diana’s about the misuse (and corruption) of money. So I suppose in our lists of what we plan for ourselves, we need to specify what “wealth” means to us. Fascinating post, Brigid.

  11. Great review, although like you say I’m also not fond of the word bitch and probably would not have even looked at the book if I saw it on the shelf, but reading your review here and you’re experience after you inspired me to go check the book out. Great to hear about your sales increase. Thank you
