If you are searching for inspiration for new travel destinations, look no further!
“Travel Stories and Highlights 2019,” edited by Robert Fear, showcases the experience of 55 authors, writers and poets, in 66 travel stories of 500 – 1000 words, and 66 travel highlights of 50 – 100 words.
I eagerly awaited its publication, as I have 2 travel stories – “I had a Dream” and “Downhill on a Bike in Bali,” and 1 travel highlight – “Amritha” included in this inspiring collection.
I devoured each and every story, and thoroughly enjoyed being transported around the globe, from the comfort of my armchair, visiting Thailand, Greece, Australia, New Zealand, South America, Italy, The Himalayas…
Robert has edited two other editions of “Travel Stories and Highlights” from 2017 and 2018, as well as “Exclusive Pedigree,” the memoir of his late father – journalist and broadcaster John Fear.
He blogs at http://www.fd81.net and is also the author of “Fred’s Diary 1981.”
Brigid P. Gallagher is a retired natural medicines therapist, passionate organic gardener and author of “Watching the Daisies- Life lessons on the Importance of Slow,” a holistic memoir dedicated to the art of mindfulness and healing from debilitating illness.
She lives in Donegal, Ireland – an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Brigid, I could sense your joy as you ‘travelled’ whilst reading this book … visiting both places and within yourself, I feel. I like the idea of the varying length of the articles and your exuberance is contagious … a book I’ll check out sometime.
